NLEN Staff Working Remotely Tuesday, January 16th.

The City of Chicago is under a Wind Chill warning, per the National Weather Service, due to extremely cold temperatures and wind-chills across the entire city.


For the safety of our staff, clients, vendors, and community partners, NLEN's campus is closed to in-person activities on Tuesday, January 16th. This includes NLEN offices and programs, the Financial Opportunity Center Resource Room, the Sweet Beginnings offices and production room, and the beelove café.


NLEN and Sweet Beginnings Staff will be working remotely on Tuesday. we will welcome clients and café guests back to our campus once we reopen, and will ship out any beelove® orders once our social enterprise staff return to campus.


If you are a current client with a scheduled meeting with your Client Solutions Specialists or with an FOC or READI Staff member, an NLEN staff member will reach out to reschedule your meeting or talk with you on the phone or virtually via Zoom. FOC office hours for Energy Assistance applications will resume on Wednesday, January 19th from 9:30AM-2:30PM.
