Center for Working Families/Financial Literacy and Education 
NLEN's Financial Literacy program provides a supportive and resource-rich environment where low and middle-income families can access workforce focused financial education workshops, income supports, and financial tools and services. Through an approach of outreach, coaching, and bundled of services, offered through the Center for Working Families, NL residents and families seeking to reach their economic goals can achieve them through NLEN's employment and career advancement opportunities, income and work supports, and access fairly-priced financial services within the NL neighborhood.
The Financial Literacy program works independently and in coordination with NLEN Workforce Development Programs to effectively coordinate the mobilization of efforts to achieve positive changes in quality-of-life for NLEN program participants. Financial Literacy is the implementation of the CWF program, focusing on integrating long-term financial counseling into NLEN's existing services. Financial Literacy engages program participants and community members in affirmative ways to optimize their receptivity to financial education and credit repair programming and interventions.
