Chicago Fair Trade Event, held at Daley Plaza - May 14, 2008
Sweet Beginnings will be participating in the City of Chicago's Fair Trade Event, to be held May 14th, at Daley Plaza.
Green For All - April 4, 5, and 6, 2008
The North Lawndale Employment Network will be participating and attending the Dream Reborn, a conference which will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King Jr. as well as explore "ecological solutions to heal the earth while bringing jobs, justice, wealth and health to all our communities."
Chicago Green Festival 2008 - May 17 and 18, 2008
Sweet Beginnings will also be selling beeline products at the Chicago Green Festival, to be held May 17th and 18th, at Navy Pier. Please come join us!
Small Business Entrepreneurship Education Class - August, 2008, dates TBA
Beginning in August, 2008 (Dates TBA) NLEN will be hosting a Small Business Entrepreneurship Education Class. The class will be held at NLEN for 12 consecutive weeks, 2 hours a week, beginning in August. The class will be taught by Zira J. Smith, ED.D., a professor from UIC.
