Yalonda is currently a Workforce Development Coach for Windy City Harvest and U-Turn Permitted, where she assists clients with supportive services and workforce coaching as it relates to job retention and advancement.
Yalonda has previously worked in the field of urban planning and policy for the Quad Communities Development Corporation, the Woodlawn Preservation and Investment Corporation, and the New Orleans Housing Authority.
Yalonda holds a B.A. in Urban Studies and Public Policy from Dillard University and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
