Julian currently works as the Manager of Employment Services for the North Lawndale Employment Network. As a position that requires dual contact with both clients and the business world, he is passionate about being able to communicate the varied needs of those men and women who are reentering employment. Because of his training and personal experiences, Julian is especially equipped to understand and address these needs.
For the past 10 years Julian has pursued work in nonprofit social service agencies. Believing that "people enjoy the shade because someone else has planted a tree" drives Julian to continue to work for change in this field, and is what connects him to the mission of NLEN. It is this idea which has allowed him to find his purpose in life.
Julian attended Chicago Vocational School and Eastern Illinois University, from which he completed degrees in both Art and Computer Aided Design.
