Cleophus has worked closely with at-risk youth for the past 10 years in both his professional and personal life. He has served as Youth Pastor of his church for five years and worked as a Youth Service Trainer and Program Support Specialist with the Dynamic Educational Systems, Inc. (DESI) which was also a WIA youth funded program.
Prior to this he was a Site Coordinator for Life Directions, Inc. at Manley High School working with in-school youth and young adults between the ages of 18 to 35 in the North Lawndale community. He also is the co-founder of Youth In Power, Inc., which is a youth development agency that serves in-school youth.
Cleophus holds his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science from Dillard University, New Orleans, Louisiana and is presently attending seminary to obtain his Masters of Divinity Degree.
Cleophus has a passion for helping young people maximize their potential and get on a path of success.
